Course Characteristics
A right handed National Hunt track with a level, sharp circuit of a mile and a quarter. The fences are relatively easy which suits front runners and handy types. Due to an excellent watering system, the going is rarely on the firm side.

Travel Details:
By Car:
From the south take the M90 and from the north follow the A9. Tourist Board
signs for Scone Palace take you to the racecourse on the A93.
By Train:
Perth has a mainline station.
By Bus:
A new Race Day bus service runs to the course from Mill Street in Perth town
centre. These leave 1 hour before the first race.
By Air:
The nearest Airfield is 3 miles away in Scone. There is also helicopter landing
facilities in the centre of the course (by prior arrangement with the racecourse
only).
