Course
Charcteristics
Nottingham operates only on the Flat with a left handed oval
circuit with a long run-in of five furlongs. It is a very fair track where the
draw on the straight course can be crucial. With the stalls on the far side, low
numbers are preferred whilst on the stands side, high numbers have a distinct
advantage particularly on soft ground.

Travel Details:
By Car:
The racecourse is situates just 2 miles from Nottingham City Centre, East of
Nottingham on the A612 in Colwick. It is easily accessible form any direction,
the A52 East or West, the A60 and the A453 from the South, and the A60 or A612
from the North. All are within easy reach of the M1 or A1. Once in Nottingham
follow the brown tourism signs and yellow park and ride signs to the Racecourse.
By Train:
Nottingham railway station is two miles from the course. | |
