CHELTENHAM FESTIVAL 2009 - RACE PREVIEWS This is where we will investigate each of the big races at the festival in depth to discover those angles, trends, and all important form pointers, that lead us and our selections into the winners enclosure with the statue of Arkle looking down on them.
Each race is given the meticulous once, twice and thrice over leaving no stone unturned in the quest for the winners. You've seen on the previous page how this has paid off in the past and we are hoping for another year like last, when the first day 2008 provided us with 4 winners at 8/1 - 8/1 - 10/1 & 14/1, and to round it off two winning EW bets at 16/1 & 50/1!!! both placed. That Tuesday ensured that spirits could not be dampened with the postponed day and the rescheduling of races to the end of the week, culminating in a bumper card for Gold Cup day on the Friday when we gave not only Denman to beat Kauto, but also Fiveforthree and 50/1 placed French Saulaie in the curtain closer.
