Years Gambling
Marc began his betting career in much the same way as anyone. Introduced by
family on yearly visits to Glorious Goodwood and Brighton, and Winters days
spent at Fontwell and Plumpton he was watching horses race from an early age.
Much of this time however was spent picking up losing tickets from the
bookmakers and keeping them in scrapbooks at home, frowned upon when proudly
presenting his summer collection at school next term.
Old enough to get away with betting in shops, his first weekly wage packet was
gone in a flash, picked up lunchtime on Friday he was broke by the middle of the
afternoon on Saturday. This did not deter him, the rush of having a gamble with
the occasional winner meaning he could treat his mates to a pint in return for
the ones they had bought him the previous week, it was all part and parcel of
the weekly ritual of losing more than he could afford.
This continued for many years, despite knowing when he had found a good bet
through research he found he was still losing as the attraction of the gamble
hit those profits and emptied the pockets.
Understanding that the more time he spent researching, form reading and
listening to a number of people he had met in the industry he knew there was a
way of making betting pay.

5 Years Betting
Now Marc no longer GAMBLES, he BETS instead.
Keeping records of every bet placed he found the areas and the bets which he was
best at finding winners. Concentrating solely on these areas and stoutly keeping
track, reviewing and analysing his performance, whilst keeping a larger and
larger database of information and regular contact with his industry friends,
Marc honed his skills and turned 15 years losing into making a profit year on
year.

Remains his most regular source of winners. The consistent surface and distance
make form reading much easier, and handicapping mistakes more obvious National Hunt;
His favourite challenge. This is where Marc excels in the big price coups. Form
reading and trends are the essence of his approach as he continues to hit double
figures winners every month ensuring this is his most profitable return on his
betting investment.
Flat Racing;
His first love, specialising in areas of the summer sport, and finding the value
in underestimated runners
