Course Characteristics

Flat only. Left-handed, galloping, track. Two miles in extent, run-in of five furlongs, with chutes for six furlong and seven furlong starts. Considered a very fair test and often seems to suit horses who like to run prominently all the way. The 'Knavesmire', as it's name implies, can get very testing in wet weather.
