Course
Characteristics
Flat and National Hunt. A sharp, fairly undulating,
left-handed track of about a mile and three-quarters in circumference. On the
flat there is a run-in of two and a half furlongs from the final turn, and
chutes for five furlongs, mile and mile and a quarter races. Over jumps there is
a run-in of 240 yards from the final obstacle.

Travel Details:
By Car:
Warwick Racecourse is close to the junction of the A46 and A41. From the north
pick up the A46 via Leamington Spa and from the south via Stratford. From the
M40 exit at Junction 15. Only 20 minutes from Birmingham and 1 hour 30 minutes
from London.
By Train:
An hourly service runs from London to Warwick and Leamington. Warwick station is
20 minutes walk from the racecourse and Warwick Parkway is 10 minutes by car.
By Air
Birmingham International and Coventry Airports are both within 30 minutes drive
of the racecourse. With prior permission helicopters can land on the course on
racedays.
